Nintendo has posted up the registration dates and when CH 2003 will begin. Registration is from July 29th-31st at CampHyrule.com and it will officially begin on Aug. 11 for I believe 1 week. So who's gonna try to claim top cabin this year? Any GT'ers gonna sign up?(besides me)

Hell yes im signing up...it was to damn late last year though, I was just starting school when it was starting. I dont start until like the August 22 or something this year, so that date sounds good.

I signed up last year. I didnt participate but my cabin won and I got a Mario sticker  recognize

I'll probly sign up again this year just for the hell of it.

Dyne 06-25-2003 01:50 AM

I haven't done it yet but I'll be sure to this year. I've always been curious as to what it is, but I guess it's just a big chatroom. I'm good at that. Heh.

I won a couple years ago. All promises from Nintendo, we didn't get anything.

I won in 2000 and 2001. Each year I got a cartoonish picture of all the camp councilors and their signitures. Eh...

Vampyr 07-07-2003 09:39 PM

I was in cabin 9 a couple years ago, and we won and were "supposed" to get some kind of Nintendo poster, but I never got mine. Ill sign up this year, of course. I was on vacation last year at the beach and didnt get back in time to sign up.

Heh, I saved the Fish Tails game from last year.

Oddly enough, if still appears to send in your high score when you hit "submit score"

Emiger 07-07-2003 11:46 PM

I never signed up before so I think I'll do it this year. I'm not really sure when school starts so I'm not sure if I'll actually participate or not, it does sound like fun though.

*A friendly reminder*
Registration beings tomorrow, July 29th and runs through the 31st! Don't Forget!

Crono 07-28-2003 07:12 PM

Ah yes. I'll be signing up this year. I'll probably spend quite a bit of time in the chatrooms, like I did last year. I'm going to be signing up first thing in the morning to secure a good spot.

Secure a good spot? How are some spots better than others?

...... Well, what I meant was, to be actually be able to get in. Last year they allowed everyone, but I'm not sure this year will be like that. They normally only allowed 2000 people per year.

Vampyr 07-28-2003 09:33 PM

Alright, I get what your saying.

Hopefully there will only be 2000. Im confident I can get up early enough to get in, and its more fun when its held within a smaller community.

Use 22003 as a zip code. If you still want one.

Registration is closed, right? I missed it again for the 3rd time... If it isn't, where do I click to get to the registration page?

Here's what I get:

"This year, registration for Camp Hyrule 2003 will take place July 29 - July 31 right here at CampHyrule.com. Each and every registered camper is assigned to a virtual cabin, where he or she can meet other gamers and interact with Nintendo's gameplay experts in exclusive Camp Hyrule chat rooms and message boards. Daily events include live chat shows, games, art activities and a bus-load of surprises from the Nintendo universe.

If you like to talk about video games, play practical jokes, and rub elbows with Nintendo's expert gamers, then pull out the tanning lotion and get ready to meet new friends at Nintendo's Camp Hyrule 2003. Coming the week of August 11, 2003."

It's what I saw a week ago. Somehow, my browser shows me the site before the update.

Jason1 07-31-2003 02:50 PM

I hope you tried refreshing...

Bube 08-01-2003 08:25 AM

Thanks for the help, but I had tried both of those already (refreshing and clearing).

I visited the site again, and this time: "Registration for Camp Hyrule 2003 is now CLOSED."

Missed it again! 3rd year running...
