What are you Canadians doing today? I am having a little party on my back deck. We'll BBQ some steaks, chicken wings and hamburgers at around 5, and then the partying and drinking begins! Lol.

Well, I'm doing absolutely nothing now (well, I actually just got back from my cousins, we had supper there but really didn't do anything), I was going to go see fireworks but I live in a small city and our fireworks are crappy... they last like 4 minutes and are actually quite dull, so screw that. Anyway, Happy Canada Day...

I'm having a great Canada :canada: Day!

The celebration started Saturday night....some nice partying....Sunday was basketball, PS2 and a poker night (with Cuban cigars ;))....yesterday was golf and the Argos game.....today was relaxation, a huge BBQ and a football game.

Vernon city is spending 20 000 on the fireworks for tonight. And Kelowna is about the same but they are smaller fireworks for a longer time, which sucks. I love Canada.

Everyone would gather/on the 24th of May/sitting in the sand/to watch the fireworks display/dancing fires on the beach/singing songs together/though it's just a memory/some memories last forever

....guess it must be some other canadian holiday.

That is May 24 weekend... Sometimes in falls on the Victoria Day long weekend.. Yep. Actually, I think it does next year!

If i'm still around in 2010 i'm hoping to get tickets to some of the mens hockey games. I live about 4 hours east of Vancouver.

That's awesome eh? Remember what it was like in USA last year? More Canadians than Americans, they started singing the Canadian national anthem during the gold medal game. This time it'll be crazaaaaaaaay.
