As much as I had first liked Rndm's design... I had to vote for GameMaster's... because I think it's well done and is overall better. Dyne's is also good.. but kind of lacks creativity, heh. (Sorry to Dyne and Rndm..)

EDIT: GM... I was wondering, how DID you pull off such a design? Did you draw each character yourself? I love how the kegs are placed over the one man's head.

Nah, that's not necessary. There are perfectly fine fantasy tavern images out there. All you have to do is find a good font, and you've got a sharp looking entrance image.

Aaaactually, after checking that site out, it says that the picture is taken from an artist from Elfwood (Hai Phan).

:unsure: Not sure it can be used as the front for GameTavern without asking for permission from both the artist and the man/company that comissioned him to draw it.

I voted for Dyne's, but i think it would be really great if we could rotate between a couple of them on a bimonthly or so basis. That way, it could be a change, and we could show everyones art work at stuff.

I like gms and dynes work tho.. im votin for Dyne tho.. just cuz i love chrono trigger... ( only rpg ive ever liked )

I voted for Dyne's. And unless GM got permission to use the image, it shouldn't be eligible. It could be GT in legal trouble.

Dyne's is neat though. Nice play on Cheers. Nice use of a screenshot. Yoda's just...doesn't sit right with me. Doesn't seem to fit IMO.

Rndm's is good though. That's my second choice.

Well, mine is basically my work, and you'd only have to write one line of disclaimer, if you cared. Yoda's and Rndm's you'd have to write many, many lines. ;)

I don't think it matters, anyways. We don't CLAIM it was our work on the page, it's just there. Like, you can mention, say, Evian, in a movie, and you wouldn't get sued. That would be advertising. And hell, sometimes they'd pay you to do it. ;) It probably only matters if it's degratory.

Video game characters are everywhere, and -due to their popularity- permession need not be asked. Your case is different because it is an individual artist, the likes of which are really touchy when their work is taken *has had experience with such a situation*.

I like dynes because of the quirky cheers refrence but yours makes me think of alcoholic barbarians and thats c00l in my book..
