Do your parents/guardians play video games also?
 

Not here. :( Not even my sister plays video games :( I'm the "lone ranger" so to speak. Because of this, I think it's really cool when I meet parents who play video games. Not old skool like pinball but I mean real video games. It's good to see they keep up with the times :D ;) I think when I'm grown I'll still play but maybe something kicks in around the age of forty that makes you lose the desire? So, c'mon guys, who here have parents/guardians that play video games? Can they whoop you ;) Maybe someone out there even has a grandparent/grandguardian that plays them? But the chances of that are like what, 1 to 1,000,000?

No way...........they didn't even notice I bought a Ps2 ;)

When I'm a dad, i'm gonna be the best at games. Better than the kids playing them. I'll challenge my son/daughter in KOF and kick his/her ass!

When we first bought my SNES, I couldn't play SMW very well. My Dad would stay up until 3 in the morning to beat a few levels, and because of that, he's a very good SMW player.
He played videogames from that time on. He played Mario Kart on N64 a lot. He couldnt beat me, but he would come in close second. So he's a pretty good M Karter. He also likes to play MK:SC on GBA (his best time on Peach Circuit is something like 55 seconds).
My Mom once tried to play MK64 as well, but she couldn't manage. She kept bumping into walls.

My brotehr might play the occasional PS or computer game.

My mom and dad don't understand video games, they don't mind me playing them, but they don't understand them theirselves.

My Dad plays Gran Turismo (and an occasional Nintendo game)... that's about it

Yeah,me and my brothers always play videogames.

rarely... The only game my dad liked to play during the PSX/N64 time thing was "MARIO KART WORLD!" :rolleyes:

My dad trys to play Unreal Tournament, but he really sucks. He never plays consoles.

My dad loved Crazy Taxi.
My mom loved Virtua Tennis.
After that, they lost interest. *shrug* Go figure.
Other than that, me and my brother get a few laps of SSX Tricky in every once and awhile.

My brother and sister like to play, and, on occasion, my dad may pick up the controller for a game of starwars or pilotwings.

My mom and dad used to love Mario. I remember them playing SMW all the time. Now my mom lost interest in video games all together and my dad only plays sports games with my brother.

Well, my brother plays videogames almost as much as me, but my parents dont. My dad used to like to play mario golf on the NES back in the day...but that was about it...

Come to think of it, my mom loves Pac Man, and my dad loves Tetris, but they don't play often.

My dad plays Red Alert 2 all the time. He plays nothing but Command & Conquer games.

my dad will once in a while. my mom doesn't. sister will play some multiplayer with me.

My sistersdo, but I'm still better ;) My mom,too big of a fitness freak to waste her time with Video games, and just too busy at work, MY dad, well have fun trying to teach a blind guy to play videogames,smae with my step mom. And my cat's clearly can't

The only games I can get my dad to play were football. Dont think my mom played any games with me...

I play video games.

My bro plays videogames occasionally, he usually just plays the games that I buy a couple of times.

Sister, Yes.. But only Dr. Mario on NES, and Dr. Mario 64.

Dad, Yes. But he is limited to the Madden series, Double Dragon Series, and Dragon Warrior 1-3.

my mom use to play games on the intellivision. my dad loves the metroid series and roadrash's. he likes some hockey games too.

Yes. Im sure of it. I think it was released late in the NES's lifespan, but there was a Mario Golf for the NES.

My mother only plays Tetris, Dr. Mario, Mario & Yoshi, DX-Ball and other puzzle games. My dad never plays any games. Not even (very often) board games.

My best friend's parents are playing 1080 and Excite Bike 64 at the moment :D And they're over 60!!!

I know there's a golf game with a fat guy who looks like Mario. Perhaps you mean that one??
