Favorite stand-up Comedian
 

Well, it doesn't have to be an argument but if you wanna make it that, its cool. Who is your favortite stand-up comedian (this includes sitcom people because we all know they had to start somewhere).

Mine would have to be Robin Williams.

Steve Martin in the 70's. His "Let's Get Small" album was brilliant. "Wild and Crazy Guy" was great too; the second half was probably much better if you were in the audience for that. It also had a recording of "King Tut" so it was good in my books. "The Steve Martin Brothers" I never got to buy (it's the only one that hasn't been converted to CD), but I also own his last stand-up album, "Comedy Is Not Pretty," which is his second best album.

Steve Martin is the best. :D

Robin Williams is good too. He's a bit vulger though.

yeah, i agree Steve Martin is really good (wasn't fresh in my mind, but he is definately up there with Robin Williams <--once you get past his vulgarity)

It's ok. I liked his "Penis" sketch though. "5 minutes before you wake up, he's already up to greet you!"

You want extremely vulgar though, go with Eddie Murphy. Wow. You kind of wonder how Robin Williams and Eddie Murphy got hired by Disney for a lot of things. O_O

Well I've only been to one comedy show and that was one which had Dane Cook, Kevin James, and Ray Ramano.

Ray Killed it by far. So he's my favorite stand up comedian.

Well most of these come from college, but eh.

Dane Cook is a good one.

Stephen Lynch iis funny as hell, and we got the honor of seeing him live. Everyone loved the song Craig Christ and so many more.

Dave Chappelle, you should see "Killing Em Softly" and of course his sketch comedy show. The black white supremist is probably one of the funniest sketches ever.

Norm McDonald, Bill Cosby, and Jerry Seinfeld. Two out of three had amazing long-running TV shows and the other is just hilarious...

A little known comic called Brian Regan. He used to be on Opie and Anthony a lot and is friggin' hilarious while being 100% clean. He did a bit on being stupid in school that made me fall out of my chair.

I'd go with Hedberg, Dane Cook, Jerry Seinfeld, Conan, and Norm Mcdonald.

Ohh thats a tough one, being Canadian Id have to say Sean Collins first, Jon Stewart isnt bad, I love the Daily Show, and Jeff Foxworthy and his "You might be a redneck" bit is hilarious

Dennis Leary might be the funniest man alive. Closely followed by Dave Chappelle and Louis Black. Louis Black is hilarious.

I mean lets face it... who really wants to watch a stand up comedy feature that doesn't use vulgarity? Not me. Vulgarity enhances the funny factor by ten fold.
