Re: lets go again with the matrix
I think Agent Smith is really cool.
I also have a question: In the first movie, in the scene where Neo has a dream about Agent Smith looking for him (before he even knows about the Matix and Smith), Smith makes Neo's mouth disappear. Is this just a dream or does Agent Smith really do that. If it is a dream, how was Neo able to dream about the Agents before he ever saw them? If it isn't a dream, then how come Smith doesn't play more tricks like that later on? And Crash, don't forget to cash in on an official pair of Matrix sunglasses at their website. They've been reduced in price by 40%! :D |
Re: lets go again with the matrix
well, it had to be part of a simulation that the machines made. in the regular matrix, the agents have to "conform to the normal laws of physics" so the machines stuck neo in his little matrix adaptation (same kinda adaptation as the train station, still the matrix, but different rules {remember trainman saying "downhere, I make the rules, downhere I am God"})
so see, they can do a matrix inside a matrix... thus i stick to my original theory Here is my complaint though, if the smiths have to conform to the normal laws of physics, and like in the first one, if you "kill" an agent, they revert back to who they took over. (saying they can die just as easily as a normal human) how did smith body slam neo from 2000 feet up into the concrete ground and not break every bone in his host's body, and die? |
Re: lets go again with the matrix
Well, I believe at that point, Smith no longer just inhabitated bodies, he actually took them over and rewrote them entirely to just make it another copy of himself. When he stabs his hand into someone and they start becoming all black. So, it was a complete, perfect copy of his body, that's why the body did not die. Agents have super bodies.

Re: lets go again with the matrix

you dont like the little girl because she cant speak right? or is it just because she gives lousy head. Enlightened

Re: lets go again with the matrix
The little girl is Indian! They pronounce letter differently, lol. I don't see why everybody is so confused about the Matrix trilogy. I, for one, found it to be quite striaghtforward. Well, not straightforward, but definately not as complicated as most people make it out to be.
Meh... |
Re: lets go again with the matrix
On the contrary, there is very subtle metaphor and hints to different ideas presented by the movie hidden throughout the films. It is chalk full of allusions and stuff...

Re: lets go again with the matrix
Well if you look at the whole Matrix, you start to realize that this movie, this projection, this inexplicable portrayal of the future seemed to have caught your eye as it weaved a web that just totally captured your mind. This trilogy was filled with imagination and twists and turns that would confuse your mind, diminish the mind, extingiush the mind, and make one mind seem feeble.
But we are all part of a systemic anomaly that allows us to re-iterate what we have seen through our eyes and through our own pupils. It irrevacably becomes irrelevant that the inconspiciosity in the majestics of the in-exorable. But we are executable and in that imagine a world of logistics. ^ that was the Matrix Trilogy... a bunch of people acting like dictionaries. |

Re: lets go again with the matrix
In the love scene in Reloaded, were Keanu and Carrie really doing it for real?
|
Re: lets go again with the matrix
no, unfortunately for the guys, there is also a plug THERE .... if you get my drift.
|
Re: lets go again with the matrix
How were they able to climax then?

yeah, like the part where seraph goes to the club, and the dudes are all "I dont believe it, it's Wingless". and later merovingian calls seraph "my little judas" so it's saying Seraph was once called wingless and worked for merovingian, but when will we know (as paul harvey would say) the rest of the story? |
Re: lets go again with the matrix
Ok, I have another question...
If you take note in Reloaded, when Agent Smith confronts Neo in the park area where he was consulting with the Oracle, you'll notice that his sunglasses are little different from the ones he wore in the original Matrix, they're more angular edged. But this is the 'unplugged' Smith. What I'm having trouble determining is if all the Agent Smith copies also wear the new sunglasses or are they wearing the classic style. I'm freeze framing but it's hard to get a clear picture of any Smith copies. Well, I just took a look at Revolutions and it appears his glasses are the same as they are in Reloaded so I guess they're just the 'Unplugged' style. I wonder if they'll sell them on the site soon or just stay with the classic style? |

Gamemaster Everybody changed there glasses from the first matrix except Morpheus. They had more money this time around ;) My take on the Trilogy I think that the Matrix reloaded and revolutions was very good to the hardcore fan, but very bad for the casual fans of the first movie. Telling the story in multiple mediums was like playing with fire, and they got burned. There are very few Matrix fans who went through the trouble of beating the game and watching the animatrix who weren't on the edge of there seat when watching revolutions. The complaints that Matrix gets from casual fans are obsurd... saying things like they didn't spend enough time in the matrix. Why would they keep fighting a war in a video game when the real problems are in the real world? I think the downfall of the movie to the hardcore fan was one of two things: 1) It simply didn't end how they imagined it would or wanted it to. 2) The previews gave away the end of the movie IMO, revolutions is the best movie of the three on first watch, and the flat out most entertaining from start to finish. I love the final Neo vs Smith battle, people called it too much like DBZ, but I think it's one of the best one on one movie fights ever shown... better than I ever would have expected (one on one at least... probably could have been better 5 million on one ;)) |

Re: lets go again with the matrix
Revolutions and Reloaded are NOT GOOD MOVIES. The symbolism is heavy handed, the acting is atrocious (people started laughing during the horrifically prolonged death scene) and the series is the perfect example of why some direct NEED a studio system to keep themselves from masturbating on screen.
With that said, the huge battle sequence was pretty amazing and with the exception of Agent Smith is the only reason to watch that film. |

I think her death in reloaded was much worse. I think you should look at the second disk of the dvd version of revolutions... you seem to be in to film, you should watch it. Quote:

Re: lets go again with the matrix
Man i hated the final fight scene, I know that people said that it was good, but for me it was dissapointing. "Like DBZ my ass", thats what I said to my friend in Puerto Rico, when I finally saw the movie. The Zion Siege scene rocked.

Re: lets go again with the matrix
I haven't seen the third one yet. It is the fact that I thought that the second one was atrocious that has kept me from seeing the third one.
