That's...unexpected. Although, if SK feels they can make better games (and more money to make those games, of course) by splitting with Nintendo, good for them.

But from what I've seen on a few other forums, this is a bigger blow to people then the Rare selling was because SK released 2 games on the 'Cube that were GOOD. Then they shaft it and go 3rd party.

I was pretty pissed when I heard about this, and still am. They were really talented people over there, and Dyack was always one to back Nintendo no matter what. This definatley hurts. :(

Sorry to see them leave, well atleast they can get Too Human out sooner, I think Nintendo might have been holding them back from completing the game.

I don't think anyone here has said that. In fact, most people here are taking it fairly hard...

The only people who aren't complaining are those who either have all three systems (thus, it doesn't matter who SK develops for) or just didn't care in the first place...

I bet you didn't even look at the posts after the first one. You just wanted to say we were all being fanboys. Come on, don't lie ;)

As if it mattered to Nintendo anymore. Konami never spent a cent on advertising. Not one commercial.

This isnt nearly as bad as Rare leaving. SK is officiailly third party (Rare went straight from one console to another). SK wants to be third party, I guarentee thats why they left. Their game sales are lackluster on a single console. They have talked about despise for consoles like PS2 in the past, but will probably make games for PS2 aswell as xbox AND gamecube. And all three next gen consoles.

I dont really mind this news, other than that I will probably have to wait even LONGER for Too Human...Maybe nintendo will replace them with a company like...zoonami!

Hopefully Nintendo isnt starting a trend here. First they give off Rare, then SK becomes the studio that got great out of nowhere (something like that) then they go 3rd party. Either Retro Studios or Zoonami will be the next SK/Rare for Nintendo and then bam, 2-3 great games later they go 3rd party/jumpship:p

We all felt that Rare had issues, so we quickly accepted the loss. But SK was doing good things for Nintendo!
Hopefully they'll release Too Human on the Cube....

Edit: IGN has listed for E3: Silicon Knights title (Cube) There's hoping...
