I think that might be the volume control, the sensitivity of the touch pad, or just the simple dimming of the light of the DS.

It says power, (not sure if you noticed that). I assumed it was the power for the whole system.

They really do need to bring that style up to date and make it a little more, 'happenin'

that is one ugly mofo IMO, little bit big and chunky, i dont want to say fisher price toy but it keeps seeming like it to me.

have to wait and see what final design is tho.

Weird, when it's closed it looks like a checkbook.

When it's open is a tad different story, but that's just me.

hmmm. one of thoes shots reminded me of something...

if DS is ever going to have an adapter or something like the GB player for GC,

its going to have to be doubled screened on your TV, like a split screen, and have black taking up the extra space on left and right. not going to be as TV friendly as it used to be. hehe

I had the idea that they will make you stack two TVs on top of eachother...That would be humorous.

Re: DS shots from the showfloor

lol. but i doubt it has the ability to hook to 2 tv's anyway. plus no one would do that anyway. :P

I think as a third pillar it's going to be exclusive. There's no room on the bottom of the Gamecube anymore anyways, so I doubt ever seeing a DS player.

well obviously not for GC. too late in its life.

Too late in its life? Its only 2 and a half years old. It just turned 2 in Europe a month or 2 ago. Get your mind of the PS2 date since GC came out a different year.

But remember, there still is that ubiquitous Serial Port 2 there. It still needs some kind of purpose.

now jonbo, you get mad at stu for jumping on you. dont jump on me.

my mind isnt on the ps2 date, its on the GC date. The DS wont come out for a little bit yet. and after that it would take longer to develope a DS player to connect to GC when they could be developing it for the new Nintendo in the biggining of its life.

a DS player wouldnt be comeing out now. it would take a year maybe 2, and thats too late in the gc's life.

I wasnt jumping on you. I was just stating that the GC is still young.

Re: DS shots from the showfloor

I don't see why they would realize a DS player anyhow.

I mean it's one thing with the GB, I mean it's like 100 year old and most folks probably played the game on the handheld anyway, the GameBoy Player as well as the Super GameBoy just gave you the option to play on TV.

It would however be weird if for games like Metroid Prime Hunter, where you use the touch screen to shoot. Now that would be a pain in the ass on a TV, especially since mines doesn't have a touch screen.

as i said i doubt it will be made anyway.

however if it was, 'your not thinking 4th dementionally marty' :p prolly they would make just the vid come out the screen and still use the touch pad on the DS.

still, i dont think touch screens should even be involved with most games. what would be the fun if you just touch where you want to shoot? be better for games like mario paint.

Well, I was just playing along with the game.

Though, it would be cool to stack two TVs on top of each other.

*Thinks*

I'll ask my roomie if we can do that next semester.

Wario Ware looks like it's gonna open tons more opportunities with the touch screen.
