for the amount of people that are interested in this, (IMO, overated) game/series.

they coulda put a toothpick on a log in the middle of the forest and it woulda created the same hype.

There is no difference. They have targeted a certain audience and have succeeded in reaching that audience with minimal capital expenditure. I worked in marketing for 4 years and trust me, this is a huge success.

And as for reaching only those who love Halo to begin with... all I can say is that you believe that Halo is overrated, and yet you are still here talking about www.ilovebees.com and Halo 2. Bingo!

and btw, the [insert advertisment here] thing where your talking about it meaning that it worked doesnt apply to message boards. cuz its not the ad that gets ppls attention, its the message board. i mean i could make up a topic saying did you see that add for ice cold soup? and everyone that replies means the ad worked? hehehe
