Photon Drops?

This is a stupid question, but since I haven't gotten online yet, I'm not sure. I have a Photon Drop...what do I do with it? It says someone needs it, but who? If its someone online, I'll just stash it until I get online.

There's a quest, where someone offers you items. If you have like 1-10, you get certain items. Up to 99.

Ah, so basically its an online quest where someone gives me items if I give them a Photon Drop?
