U.S. President George W. Bush's bold, uncompromising leadership and his clear-cut election victory made him Time magazine's Person of the Year for 2004, its managing editor said Sunday.

Bah, I'm almost through my data limit (I know, it sucks, but there's only ADSL here and no cable), so I have to wait 2 days before I can DL again. I have to pay like €1 for every 100MB over the limit!

thanks to Typhoid of course

I actually think that whoever won this election would have won this dubious honor, considering how charged it was and the worldwide ramifications of it.

I say dubious because the Man of the Year award is not just awarded to those considered to have a necessarily "good" affect, just those that have had a resounding one. (That should appease you dastardly liberals out there ;) )

The painting itself isn't that good either.

It's true. Hitler won man of the year from Time a while back, so it isn't always a good man.

*never made a Bush/Hitler comparison here, just saying.
