Predict-A-Birth!

My aunt is just over eight months pregnant and is due to have her baby two weeks from today. However, she's known for having overdue babies. When do you think she will give birth? In the event that you don't care, I've turned it into an opportunity to make a nice little doubloon profit.

Choices:
• 1-2 days
• 3-7 days
• 8-13 days
• The Due Date
• 15-16 days
• 17-21 days
• 21+ days

When will the baby emerge from the cave of creation? Who knows for sure? Only mother nature of course. Good luck to all!

The betting session will be open for one week unless a baby comes before then in which it will then be closed. Get those votes in early my royal friends!

15-16 days, come onnnnn baby! Hold in for an extra day

/me smuggles a few $100's under the table to bribe GM to tell his aunt to hold out and then whistles quietly as I move into the night

I bet 21+ days but it's okay. I separated myself from the materialistic world long ago. If the baby comes sooner I'll force it to join GT and make it give me doubloon payments until it turns 18.

Another vBookie event? ... My dubloon gambling addiction's going to get the better of me one of these days. I better hold off on this and think it over.

Bah! You want excitement at my expense? The previous two bets were pretty easy (well, I guess I got lucky with the art contest). This one has a lot of categories, and the outcome could be entirely random.

But sure... I've had my 15 minutes of fame, I suppose. For your entertainment alone, I'll go all-in.

But, I can't wait too long to see if I win or lose. I'm betting 1-2 days... at least this way, I'll know if I lost by tomorrow :p . And, if I miraculously win... oh God, the profits. That should entertain you, ya lousy drunk!

Edit: *sob* Why do I feel I'm going to regret this? I admit now, I have a gambling addiction!

This is insane! We just received a phone call that my aunt is in labor, ahead of schedule! It wasn't supposed to end like this! I was going to be rich! :baby:

Assuming the baby arrives tonight, I've closed down the vBookie, but if she holds out through tomorrow, I'll open it back up.

Please stay in labor for 21+ more days!

Ewww.

But, er, I have a chance? Intense :beat:

I dunno though. My mother was "in labor" for over two weeks with my sister.

Re: Predict-A-Birth!

At 9:41, a girl was born! So much for having a new video game partner... :( ;)

Before I go and visit it tomorrow, would the lucky (expletives) who bet on 1-2 days promise to refrain from bragging about how chose the right date? :D

I still can't believe this one came early, the other two were late!

Edit: For myself and all future vBookie participants, consider hiring Stray_Bullet as your personal financial consultant. This guy either has the luck of the Irish or possesses a sixth sense. Oh well, hope everyone had fun. :)

Now let's bet on what the girl's name is! ;)

lmfao... you gotta be kidding.

I almost don't think I deserve it. Oh well, it's really Blackmane's fault. And because of that, he gets money!

Well, I'm glad it ended early for more than just the money... now I can rest easy and not have to think about the "what if"s!

Hey Neo, can I donate Dubloons to cancer?

Yeah, just first let me get Neo or Bond to get my username changed to "cancer"

Wow, Stray.

I'd quit while I was ahead if I were you now.

Hoard your wealth. Like a dragon!

Congrats on the insane win.
