There is no possible way that sign can mean "Metallica Rules".


Because a band would have to rule, in order for that to happen.



Which is why I hate that whole Napster thing. People saying Metallica is lame, and that Metallica sucks just because they opposed Napster.

I believe their millions of fans and thousands of sold-out concerts would disaggree. KISS? Now thats a band that BLOWS. Good gimmick, LOUSY music.

If you make the argument of sold out shows, millions of fans, and money, then KISS would be better than Metallica, would they not?

You cant say the fans for Metallica make them good, yet totally not include the same for KISS. :p

I can guarantee you they would NOT be better than Metallica, if only for the reason that Metallica has been touring and putting out albums far longer than KISS. KISS was big for a few years in the 70's, they put out a DISCO song, their fanbase died, and they recently had a reunion of sorts with the make-up back on.

Meanwhile Metallica has been huge for about 25 years, and they've never had to put on a reunion tour as they never stopped because they have always been successful and their fans always stuck by them.

Game. Set. Match. Metallica > KISS. Its not even close.

The only Metallica song i liked was fade to black, and i never really like them that much, and the whole Napster thing pissed me off about them.

And when i heard and saw St. Anger, well that just made me want to vaporize them altogehter.


Not that im siding with kiss, but they have a whole army to contend with ;)

That may not really be a Satanic signal.. I can't really see where his thumb is, but that would make a huge difference..

For it to be a Satanic symbol, your thumb should be on top of the bent fingers. He looks like he has the tip of his thumb connecting with the tip of the others. Which is a Turkish nationalist sign.

If the thumb is under the fingers, that's an occult sign which, when pointed at somebody, is believed to put a curse on them.

in order to resolve this fight that happened A YEAR AGO, i would just like to remind everyone that the "hail satan" symbol isn't about metallica or KISS or Pat Robertson... it's about the feelings we all share while standing in a large mass, sweating, listening to music, whether that music be marilyn manson, def leppard, or enya.

let us all throw up the horns in a showing of utter rejoice for MUSIC.

I hate that Kiss guy too. Kiss is cheeze. On the other hand, I think Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets are already elevated to classic status.
