Problems with the board?
 

Has anyone else been having problems lately getting GT to load? For the past few days each time I come it is hit or miss as to whether or not I can get it to load. It keeps telling me the server is busy.

Is this a common problem or is it just me?

Yeah, i've had the problem for a few months too but lately it has been a lot worse. Like GM said, it has been about 90% of the time.

Maybe we can limit usage? :confused:

My guess is that it's some kind of error with Neo's hosting company. I mean, there's only about 15-20 regular posters. It can't be bandwidth consumption.

It is; the message is literally the fault of the server.

Last time Neo fixed it by getting rid of some database backups, I think.

I have had it for awhile but i refresh and it works fine...

No, that was because Bond accidentally re-indexed some things, meaning post counts that we manually added from previous forum incarnations were eliminated.

I (Angrist) did lose some posts when Neo got rid of some stuff.....

Anyway, I don't care if we lose some of our old stuff.
