Yoshi's Boxx
|
Pretty cool. I'd like to have one but I'm too lazy to learn how to make one and then make it :D
|
Wow. This is amazing! I have always had an idea like this, but I am too lazy and too poorly educated in making things like this to actually go out and make a big box. Wow. It would be cool if it had a sales price....

Wow, damn cool. But I can't figure out in those pictures where the PS2 is. Can someone help me out?

I saw that yesterday on TechTV, Yoshi is crazy. I could never, NEVER spend all that time on one thing (I think he said it took him over 100 hours to do it on the show). I would like one though, but imagine how expensive it would be if it was actually sold in stores...

So that thing is real?? cool.

As for your question, perhaps this helps: The PlayStation 2 was a little tricky and yet very straightforward. I found that it could easily be mounted beside the 5.25-inch drive bays if the power supply was relocated. All I had to do was carefully mark out the cuts I would be making in the front of the box. |

As you can clearly see here, the PS2 is mounted standin, in the left side of the front plate, at the center level of hight.

Oh, okay, I see it (duh! :)). If you look at the photos at the Wired page, the PS2 isn't anywhere on there and the rest of the front is different (I guess he wasn't done yet). It does say "Prelimenary Photos," but it doesn't make it obvious that the Boxx wasn't done.
I can also see where the Nintendo unit is in those pics, though I don't remember how the Atari worked so I'm guessing its that thing on the side. Anyway, thanks. db |
