Who else is a huge Michio Kaku Fan?
He is the co-founder of string theory, or m-theory. He has had a lot of appearances on TV and he also has a few books. I just bought his newest book "Parallel Worlds" not too long ago but haven't started it yet because I'm finishing up Ray Kurzweil's "The Singularity is Near". Is anyone else familiar with Dr. Kaku?
His Website: http://www.mkaku.org/ Link to his radio show archives(I love listening to these, he talks about interesting things like the future of technology, the cosmos, global warming, ufos, ect.): http://www.kpfa.org/archives/index.php?show=33 ![]() |
Re: Who else is a huge Michio Kaku Fan?
I used to watch TechTV a lot before it was bought by Comcast and became G4. Anyway, he was often a guest on several of the shows and had a few specials as well. He seemed like a fairly intelligent man, but also a very good speaker. He was good at articulating complicated ideas to any viewer.

Re: Who else is a huge Michio Kaku Fan?
one day...
all of that crazy physics stuff really does interest me, but at this point i'm not even through physics 2 at my college. i'm required 3 levels of physics, mechanics, electricity, and then either atomic or quantum. personally i'd like to get a minor in physics so if i can handle the tougher stuff i'll maybe pursue it to a higher level physics class. isn't neo the resident physics buff here? |

I'm not going to try and dispute his intelligence, but I would argue that intelligence and good grades are not necessarily linked.

I can argue that you have to be intelligent to realize that the only way to realize your potential in school is to get good grades in this day and age. |
