It seems like Capcom has decided to port over Dead Rising to the Wii. Why port a 2 year old game is beyond me. But I had fun with the game on 360.

From what I could gather from the web and the scans.
-Downgraded visuals. As expected.
-More small scale feeling.
-Maybe a new camera angle to make the players feel more threatened.
-New stages and bosses and items.
-Picture taken may be out.

Dead Rising was one of the exclusives I purchased the 360 for... And the first game for the console that I played through to the end...

If this port is anything better than mediocre, I'll be surprised...
"Small scale feeling"? Kinda sounds like the exact opposite of what made the original so entertaining...

Eww. Stay away from the money-making scheme.

This has the possibility of being fun but I just know it's going to be downgraded gameplay if they're calling it a "port". :(

Some of the down porting sounds interesting. I know changes the game but curious how works out.

-Resident Evil 4 over the shoulder cam.
-No more time limit now mission based with Otis.

It will be a true struggle to survive the endless stream of enemies, but players will have full reign of a realistic shopping centre and its varied stores offering an endless supply of real and makeshift weapons to fight off the flesh-hungry mob. If Frank is running low on health he can pay a visit to one of the many restaurants or cafes for a meal in order to restore his energy and continue the fight.

The game is split into a series of individual cases, all of which Frank must complete in order to gain vital information that will allow him to piece together the truth behind the horrendous epidemic. In addition to the cases, players will be faced with the dilemma of deciding the rescue priority of the residents of Wilamette who also sought sanctuary in the mall. Depending on the player’s skill, some may not be so fortunate as each rescue needs to be undertaken in a set time period, therefore players may need to delay completion of a case in order to save a fellow human.

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop’s infectious humor delivers some welcome relief from the incessant tide of zombies with players able to dress Frank up in a variety of comedic costumes and take on the undead hordes with a selection of improvised and sometimes highly ineffective weapons such as a toy sword or a football.

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop includes the following features:
• Utilizes the same engine as Resident Evil 4 Wii edition.

In the very beginning of the 360 version, the mall isn't exactly bursting at the seams with zombies...
Since you can see some zombies off in the distance in the third shot, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and assume that those shots are from the very first hours of gameplay (even though this game uses a mission-based structure instead of the old time-based one)...

Well, I'll take your word for it, but I played the demo, and I remember quite a few more zombies during the first few minutes than are in those screen shots.
