GT All Star Series: Magus
*Magus enters BaB's room*
*Loud music is blarring. Balloons are all over the room. Dancing girls* BaB: Come on in! Come on in! Magus: What's going on here? BaB: Sorry, I had to delay the interview, but we have been partying my first round win in Smash Bros for almost two weeks now. The party just won't stop. Magus: You realize that you beat me? BaB: So... you... won't join us? Magus: I have no choice. *Sits down* BaB: Thirsty? Want anything to drink? Magus: Sure, I guess. BaB snaps his finger. Bluefire shows up. BaB: Our friend he would like something to drink. I guess a Corona, its the only thing you folks drink. Bluefire: I hate you! BaB:But you don't hate the nickel an hour I am paying so go get the juice! BaB: So while he gets the drink. What are some of your earliest gaming memories? I know some of your most recent is seeing the ground beneath my feet. Magus: The earliest I can remember was getting my Super Nintendo on Christmas and playing Super Mario World on the small TV in my bedroom that I shared with my brother. BaB: And maybe like 5 cousins? Some aunts and uncles? Grandparents? Magus: Aren't the Mexican jokes wearing thin? BaB: Maybe by the end of this interview. BaB: So while sharing rooms with half of the East Coast did you ever get a console? What was your first? First game? Magus: SNES and Super Mario World. BaB: What did you folks call that in Mexico anyhow? Magus: Super Mario World.... *Bluefire finally returns with drinks* BaB: Go ahead you can tip him! *Magus pulls out a dollar* BaB: Let's not go crazy here. We don't want the help quitting. *BaB puts a penny on the tray.* Carry on Magus: That's kind of mean! BaB: Not yet... BaB: What were some of your favorite games growing up? Magus:Zelda games that I owned (I was missing LttP), Goldeneye, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario 64, Pokemon BaB: Really? That much Nintendoing and you still lost at Smash. Most interesting. Magus: Listen it was a fluke... BaB: What! I can't hear you the music is too loud! Magus: I said it was... BaB: WHAT?! Magus: Nevermind. BaB: Smart man. BaB: So other than a Wii which I used to kick your ass in Smash Bros. In one of the most epically one sided battles of our generations, what consoles have you owned? Magus: One it wasn't one-sided... BaB: Let's not argue semantics, just answer the question. Magus: Fine! SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Genesis, Dreamcast, Game Gear, Game Boy (brick), GB Pocket, GB Color, GB Advance, GB Advance SP, DS, DS Lite, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3 BaB: I see. Interesting. Now I know Smash Bros isn't your favorite game. From all the bloody beatdowns I've given you. So what is your favorite game? Magus: Ocarina of Time without a shadow of a doubt. BaB: I did beat you with Link if I remember correctly. The battle was so one-sided and short I can hardly remember it. Magus:GRRR. BaB: What about favorite consoles? Magus: Three way tie between N64, GB Advance, PS2 BaB: I guess you can't just pick one. But as long as it was the one without Brawl. BaB: And favorite franchise? Magus: Zelda, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Voice from the background: Magus still pees himself when he plays Resident Evil! Magus: What the hell? Who said that? BaB: I told you it could get worse! Surprise guest, Magus' little brother is here to share some secrets with us. Magus: Get out of here! BaB: He is an honored guest of The Bone so he will stay. BaB: Has your taste in gaming changed? Magus: Um, basic platformers in my SNES days, and I've been kinda well rounded with my tastes, with a surge in RPGs from 7th grade to about sophomore year of high school. Magus' Brother: Don't forget the phase when you were playing dress up. Oh wait he only meant video games... Magus: LIES! BaB: Don't look at me. BaB: What would be your most ideal game? Magus: A nice action-RPG with a stellar plot, revolutionary gameplay, and nice online play, but not MMO-style if possible. Stuff is like crack. Magus' Brother: Actually, I think it would be a combination of Cooking Mama and America's Next Top Model. Magus the stay at home supermodel dad. It has a ring to it. And you already started dressing in mom's clothes... oops did I say it again? Magus: Can we get him out of here? BaB: Sure sure. He has given us some juicy tidbits anyhow. SECURITY! *Security walks over* Magus: Raged? BaB: Yeah, who knew that it was a package deal. Pretty cheap too. Saves me a fortune. *Magus' brother is escorted out* BaB: Final question because the beer is getting warm and the girls are slowing down. This party needs to go on until round 2 is over. Of course you wouldn't know about round 2.... Magus: I will kill you in your sleep! BaB: You can give it a try. So what is more important gameplay or graphics? Magus: Gameplay. Graphics have always been a plus for good games. Hell I play Alone in the Dark and System Shock on occasion. BaB: That's all we have time for today. SECURITY! Escort him off the property. *BaB rejoins the party* |
