Changes Made to GameTavern Today Explained II
 

Okay, some new changes this morning in response to feedback:

- Happy Hour has lost the privilege of talking about Movies & TV and Comics & Books.

- Movies & Television forum created.

- Comics & Books forum created.

Any ideas for descriptions for these two new forums?

Any other suggestions?

One suggestion: return things to the way they were. :) But seriously, don't we always try this every once in awhile just to come to same realization every time that we don't have enough users to support more than the two main topic forums?

I'm with George Washington here. And not being allowed to talk about movies/books in the Happy Hour is crazy.

Like I said in another thread: most of the time the comments aren't worth a separate thread. And when they are, they'd get one either way.

There's nothing to fear, but fear itself... or I stole that from somewhere.

The thing is... well I mean GT isn't the most active forum but maybe by spreading the activity out a bit we could get more open discussions about things. Most likely won't happen, but its worth a shot isn't it? And really this gives people more ideas what to talk about.

I mean what really goes on in Happy Hour now?

I like this, considering before Gametavern was basically two forums: Video Games + Everything else under the sun. A little squished, wouldn't you say?


And for those of you who are confused as to what happy hour could be about now - it could be about sports or any non-sensical topic you desire, as long as it's not catagorized as spam. Just know that if you want to make a thread about a (comic)book or movie, there are now specific sub-forums for them.

so has GT added some ad revenue cause when i was chilling on the main page i got bounced over to an ad site. which is cool i know server fees aren't free.
