Anyone get Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 yet?
 

I'm just curious what you all think about the game. I'm probably going to rent it tomorrow.

BaB and I will probably be getting it next month.

Reviews say it plays alot like the last game which is fine with me. The graphics looks so much better and new heroes so I will have fun with it

Yeah Swan and I will probably get, but not until end of October at the earliest. They are good games.. if playing with people... not so much if plan on playing by yourself.

I love the first game, and it's fun to play with a few buddies around.

So far I've heard the story is much better, but the available characters are lack-luster.

But then again, they have Penance, so I'm all good. I should be picking this one up in the next few weeks.

They dont have Dr. Strange.

it's marvel, outside of spider-man and cyclops i dont care about it.

What??? WHAT??? tHIS IS tEH bULLSHIT!1!1!!!

They'll likely have him available for some later add-on that should have been in the initial release and will cost $10.

Swan and I have been playing for a while, the character selection isn't bad, but due to the nature of the story, it can be limited at times, and you get some of them late in the game, which is weird, but the game also encourages a second playthrough.

On the same hand, you can get Carnage as DLC!

Also, they have really simplified the game big time. It looks like each character only has 4 main moves now (before they had a bit more and you could cycle through them), each character only has one alternate costume and it doesn't look like each has a special ability.

And while the Fusion attacks are cool, you soon realize they are pretty much a core group that gets recycled depending on characters.
