The only one that doesn't end with a battle with King Koopa/Bowser.

The only battle, in which you literally don't have to do anything to Bowser.

Super Mario World

The birth of the clown copter, which in of itself is pretty damn awesome.

Super Mario 64

The first time, you get hands on with Bowser.

Super Mario Sunshine


The weirdest one as it doesn't take place in a Castle, and why is Bowser in a bathtub.

Super Mario Galaxy

It has the best music of the group.

My favorite Bowser battle was probably Super Mario World. I really liked that clown copter. Also, how did Bowser fit all of those huge black cannon balls, or whatever they are, in there? I know it's not really supposed to make sense, but I always did wonder that.

Yeah the copter boss feels very epic for me.

And the main theme of Bowser bosses? He is always the downfall of himself. Except when he was young in SMB1. That first fall in to the pit really messed up his head.
