Every year we have a thread where we all post our sweet swag gained from the time honored tradition of receiving gifts from our parents/friends/loved ones.

This year I thought we could start out a little early, and post things -you- are buying for other people.

For my Dad:

Brother:
(9" long die cast replica of Squall's gunblade)


Mom:
(hardcover special edition of the first Boxcar children book)



I'm have a few other gifts for my girlfriend, but can't post them for fear that she may happen to check the site and see them.

I'm also trying to figure out something else to get my mom.

My family and I, along with a couple of friends, will be in Vegas for Christmas, so I went ahead and bought the rents tickets to Le Reve as their gift this year:



A pair of these Converse by John Varvatos Men's Bosey Boots for my brother



Godiva Chocolates for my three coworkers, and a t-shirt from Designbyhumans.com for each of my roommates.

That's the extent of my holiday "shopping" for the year.

For my brother I got an amazing hand-drawn picture of a Canuck player.

For my mom, I'm getting her wii sports resort.

I got my nephew Civilization 4.

Civ 4. :love: I should get it together with the expansion where you can play as the Dutch, and focus less on (boring) warfare.

For mom, got her a Sony e-Reader

For little brothers, got one a Halo wallet and the Chronicles of Riddick for 360
The other Godfather 2 and Killzone 2 for PS3.

For friends, got one No More Heroes/Red Steel 2 pack and Quantum of Solace on Bluray.
Other one, got High School Musical 3 pack.

Er, some cards here and there.
