Halo 4
 

Well, as per tradition - me and my friend got this game and beat it yesterday.
Anyone else planning on it?
Imnpressions?

The game felt pretty oldschool to us for some unexplained reason. Maybe just because you're playing as MC again - but it felt pretty nostalgic. Different, but nostalgic. By the end of the game, when they set the scene for the future games and Humanity is the big superpower/galactic threat, I got all nerd-giddy inside, because I thoroughly enjoy that concept.

Anyways, I won't get into story or anything. It's just a good old fashioned Halo game. The online is super fun - it felt like the old Halo games, both in how damage is calculated and just the overall feel of the online. The maps all have a really good layout to them.

I'd highly suggest getting this game even if you remotely like Halo.

Combine and I and 2 other friends played through ODST, Halo 3, and Reach last weekend to gear ourselves up for this. I shall probably pick it up this weekend.

Just beat it yesterday, awesome game. Some poorly explained parts here and there but all in all the story was great. Played some Spartan Ops too, pretty sweet addition to the game.

For some reason this game has perked my interest in Halo again ... might actually get this over Christmas break.
