Probably could have done this thread a bit earlier in the year, but whatever

Well November (or last week really) is the start of the insane gaming holiday season. We have not one, but two new consoles launching this month. In addition to one console and two handhelds that are currently on the market, looking at the release of at least a dozen major titles over the next 3 weeks or so.

So curious what is on your agenda for the next few months? Getting any new consoles/handhelds? What games are you holding out for? Anything you will save until cheaper/Christmas?

Gonna get an Xbox as soon as I can, BF4, maybe that Ryse game, Destiny looks cool as does Titan Fall and I cant wait for all the amazing features of Kinect that I will definitely use all the time!...

I'm going to hold off on getting a new system, maybe until next year. There's not really any launch games I'm crazy about getting, and I'd like to see any major hardware issues air out first.

There are a lot of Nintendo games I'm excited about though:

Mario Party Island Tour (3DS)
Super Mario 3D World (Wii U)
Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U)

I might get CoD: Ghosts or BF4 on the PC at some point.

Two of those aren't coming out this fall though... :P

Did it get pushed back? The Nintendo release calendar http://www.nintendo.com/games/releasecalendar says 12/6.

I will get Assassin's Creed 4 at some point and an Xbox One. Not sure when my budget/time will allow however. I'm not sure what will happen beyond that.

I got Pokémon Y a few weeks ago, will buy Zelda: A Link Between Worlds when it's out (and yay, looks like I get the treasure chest pre-order bonus) and then a week later it's Super Mario 3D World time!

Im getting semi close to purchasing a WiiU. Not sure if I'll get one this year or not though. I just bought a house and will have a lot of expenses / other home related things to ask for for Xmas.

Im waiting out to get a PS4 until Mid to late 2014 most likely.

I'm staying with only the Wii U for a good while. So once I'm done fixing my car I'm going to be picking up COD: Ghost just to have something to play online for a while. I have not played a CoD since WaW so I'm cool buying this one. I plan on buying some games that I have wanted for some time now:

Monster Hunter 3, Sonic & All-Star Racing Transformed, Pikmin 3 or Wonderful 101, and I am thinking either Batman: AO or Assassin's Creed BF. And I'm getting a good amount of eShop titles.

I'm getting the limited edition Zelda 3DS XL for sure.

I've decided against getting a next gen console. I honestly only PC game these days. Between League of Legends, DotA 2, FF14, Diablo 3 and many indie games that catch my eye, I just don't have the time to play console games anymore. There hasn't really been anything too impressive to come out for console in a long time.

So I've decided I'm probably just going to use what money I would spend on a console upgrading or building a new computer. I haven't decided which yet.

I could turn my current computer into an excellent media/streaming machine for the downstairs TV.

Anyway, when I do get another next gen console, it will more than likely be the PS4.
