Nintendo's Triforce
All three of Miyamoto's babies (Mario, Samus and Link) are hitting the GameCube between this August and next February. That's more big-name titles coming from Nintendo than in any half-year period of the companies history.
How I rate "Nintendo's Triforce" (in order). 1) Super Mario Sunshine 2) Metroid Prime 3) The Legend of Zelda Reasons why I rate them in that order: I’ve been a Mario-Maniac since the days of NES. Plus, it’s been six years since Mario last starred in a Platformer (and from what I’ve read so far, Mario Sunshine is already a hit and selling like hotcakes over in Japan). It's been way too long since the lady bounty hunter last starred on a Nintendo console (she never even made an appearance on N64). Super Metroid for SNES was the last Metroid game to be appear on a Nintendo console, and it is still my favorite game to this day. I've heard that Metroid Prime's transistion from 2D to 3D is phenomenal. It's taken me a year to finally get over the Cel-shaded look of Zelda (don't ask). Now that I'm over the whole Cel-shaded look, I'm starting to finally see how great the new Zelda is looking, and starting to realize that I can't wait to play Link's new adventure. So how do you rate Nintendo's Triforce, and why? |
I thought this would be a topic about the Triforce Board. Ill rate em when I play em.

Donkey Kong is his baby though, till those guys at Rare messed it all up. Donkey Kong Country? WTF did they do?!?!?! :D Ah well. Wasn't Miyamoto behind Radarscope too? |
Radarscope was the first game Shiggy worked on. Think he just did the graphics for it.
Good old DK. Can't wait for the updated GBA one. Goin' Olskool. |

2. Metroid 3. Mario ..... That's all.... |
Ehm
1 Mario 2 Zelda 3 Metroid |
Metroid wasn't created by Miyamoto, but by Gunepi Yoki, the creator of the Game Boy and Virtual Boy. He died tragicly in a car crash in late 1997. A great man, a great man. He shall be missed.

Shigeru Miyamoto is overseeing the development of all three titles– Mario, Metroid, and Zelda (that's one of the reasons they all share the same basic controls).
