Buddy needs help with SP - School stuff

My friend who goes to school with me is doing a report on the Marketing of the GameBoy Advance SP. I was hoping we could find some of the "less known" stuff (he already has the basics). Specifically some advertising strategies, (can we get those cool european ads?) and he needs to know about things that have been done to promote the SP. So see what we can find out, Once he is done, I'll get him to post the finished product on GT. So see if we can get some numbas. Let see what we can pull together in this thread.

And I know Chicago was literally bought for ads for it. They were all over. It was a thread at Gaming Age.. this guy took his camera and went to the mall to show us pics. It was pretty cool how much space nintendo bought.

Would you mind posting a link to that thread? I can't say I've noticed an overabundence of GBASP marketing here iin Chitown. It might be out in the affluent burbs or it might be downtown (two places I don't get to very often) but in the local malls I haven't seen much.

Haha, you must be joking, right? At GA?

I'll try I guess.

I think the chicago thing was way over exagerated. Morel like a mall and a few other places.

*still doesn't understand why Nintendo never brought those ads to the US.*
(if those are the ones from Europe)

GameKinG 06-15-2003 03:08 PM

Well, it was a Nintendo of Europe idea, they just let NOE do their own thing, while NOA does theirs.

Search for keyword Chicago on GA and find the topic named "Nintendo buys Chicago".
