here are the highlights (can't copy because it's in bullet form) Quote:
My focus on my most wanted WWE game just jumped from Raw to SD... but we'll see. This sound damn amazing. Any way I try to look at it it sounds good... I can't see them doing too much wrong with this. |
Re: WWE Smackdown!!! may be #1, again
They finally decided to go with 3D crowds?! Hopefully it looks at least half way decent compared to the craptacular look of the 2D models. I'm waiting for next gen. systems to come out so that the wrestlers actually look real enough. Unless THQ found this mystery code that makes them look tons better then before, I don't believe them. Next gen. WWE games will be what I wait for.

Here are some early, bad quality, but still screens of Here Comes the Pain. It shows off 3 Legends. Animal, Dibaise and Ultimate Warrior.

Damn, the legends make me wanna get the game...
But as usual, I'll say that every game is supposed to be improved so much and be the new "Best wrestling game" and it never is, for me at least, so I highly doubt SD 5 will be that great. But legends= awesome. |
Triple H is a ****tard...

Welcome to the club. I don't see the point of this reply in this thread though. To do all your Triple H bashing go to the sports forum or join the Smark's Mark usergroup. |

But anyway... the main draw for me is the legends too. Hopfully they set up a cool reward systemto unlock them, and ways to make some hae comebacks in season mode. |
Re: WWE Smackdown!!! may be #1, again
'Here Comes the Pain' has a new producer...the guy that's been doing the previous SD! games got pushed aside or something. This guy says that TO DATE, the pinnacle in wrestling videogames is 'WWF No Mercy'. He says that the new grappling/countering/submission engine is inspired from AKI's work. And about the submission engine...it's like a tug-of-war. The guy applying the hold hits buttons to have the meter reach 'submit' and the one who's in the hold hits buttons to 'escape'. Early in the match, it's much much easier to escape...but later in the match, and you get, say, the Crossface applied to you, it's easier for your opponent to get you to submit. Anyway, it sounds really cool...You actually have some control over getting someone to tap or getting out of a submission move.
