Good stuff. I like the new direction they're taking the series. Something different from zombies. Even though we all do love the zombies.

Maybe there will be an alternate play so if you beat the game in X hours without saving, all the villagers "skin" turns into Zombie. The enemies stay just as smart as the villagers, but they look like zombies now.

I actually don't think ditching zombies is that big a deal... Obviously these guys are sorta like zombies, but since they're not real undead zombies they can bend the rules a bit (kinda like how in 28 days later, they weren't really zombies, they were infected with RAGE)... Making them stronger, smarter, faster, etc...

And although the basis of RE's storyline had to do with viruses that turned people into zombies, the zombies were really the least of your worries in the game... not much of a threat unless you were surrounded or out of ammo...

And I'm kinda steal this from IGN, but what sounds more scary to you, lightning flashing and seeing 1 or 2 zombies off in the distance, or seeing a couple torches heading towards you, then lightning flashing and revealing that there is a nice-sized group of weird-azz villagers heading (faster than zombies would be) towards you with knives and crap...

Though one thing I think is stupid in the trailer is when a villager grabs Leon and shakes him... What the hell is that gonna do?

I hope not. That's my biggest fear. I only played RE on GC >,<

It's a sequel to the other RE games, it takes place in Europe in some town with crazed villagers (are they zombies? who knows...).
Full 3D graphics, better controls, faster gameplay... basicly a totally new gametype.....

... Why? They're obviously smarter than zombies... Zombies stand around and then stumble towards you... These things come at you in groups with various weapons and work out ways to get to you...

In one of the movies (I can't remember if it's the one in this topic) it looks like they were even communicating with each other in a "You go this way, I'll go home!" sorta way...

And these things seem to be faster than zombies (able to run at you... I'm not counting V-acts as normal zombies)... Aaaand as for stronger, they can do more things (climb ladders and such), and can carry weapons.. Seems stronger to me...

What were you wtf-ing about? :confused:
