Metroid Hunters: DS
|
Re: Metroid Hunters: DS
This amazing first-person battle game uses wireless technology to connect up to four players simultaneously (in the E3 demo version). Each player gets a Metroid® suit of a different color, and then tries to destroy the three opponents. Touch the stylus to the bottom screen to rotate the camera, aim and fire, or to transform into a Morph Ball. The game features the same artwork, sound, graphics, architecture and ambience found in the huge hit Metroid® Prime.

lol Crash. replying to your own post.
But I likey it. Looks very similar to MP which I like. Only problem might be is that the DS only has a D-Pad, no joystick. |
Re: Metroid Hunters: DS
Why ar ethey making a Metroid multiplayer game? What could possibly be the reason behind this? Samus does not team up with anyone. Samus does not fight clones of herself (besides SA-X). Why?

Re: Metroid Hunters: DS
This is what I always inviisioned the GBA-GCN connection as. I always though the GBA would act as a second screen, to choose weapons, or pick plays, etc. This really does look cool.

Re: Metroid Hunters: DS
Looks like maybe, just maybe, Nintendo has finally gotten their heads out of their you know whats, and finally listened to what we want. Looks amazing for a handheld. Looks to me like Nintendo will have no problem competing with the PSP.

Re: Metroid Hunters: DS
Am I the only one who sees the problem with Metroid being used for a (apparently) multiplayer oriented game? Samus is not James Bond or Master Chief!

No, it's a completely different game than Metroid that coincidentally happens to have Samus as the main character and a title of "Metroid." But Metroid it is not. I could understand a Metroid multiplayer if they kept it in the spirit of an actual Metroid game, similar to what Nintendo's doing with the Zelda Four Swords games, but a FPS fragfest? Metroid? No. Remember when everyone was so scared about how Metroid was going to become a FPS rather than the same explorative game we all knew and loved? Guess what, it's on that track. *shrugs and walks away* |
