Rome: Total War
 

Is anyone else rabidly awaiting the fall release of this title? The Total War series has been my favorite PC franchise to date, with nearly unending replayability and the most realistic real time warfare ever conceived on any gaming platform. If yo haven't played Shogun: Total War or Medeival: Total War I highly recommend doing so.

Also, just so you know it won numerous awards at this years E3, and was one of IGN's runner-ups for Game of the Show.

I have never heard of the title, but the screenshots look magnificent. I've never even heard of any of the 'total war' series games. I can easily say i will buy it as soon as it comes out.

Though ive never seen any of these games i like the style, im guessing somewhat like Empire Earth/ AOE/ rise of Nations...unless rise of Nations WAS a total war game...but im pretty sure its not.

But ya, i can finally agree with The Strangler on something, that this will be a n awesome F****** game.

My sister's ex boyfriend had a thing for shogun total war. I always wanted to play it but I never actually got around to it. Watched him play a bit and it looked interesting.


If I find shogun for cheap then i'll probably buy it.

Holy crumbums, I can be excited for RTS's again! :)

I bought Shogun, but my computer at the time wouldn't run the game for ****. Then the game got stolen, so I never got to really play it.

Now my computer can jump tall buildings in a single bound.

Can't wait!
