Hm, to answer my own question:

The impressions of Gamespot and IGN of 1080 are very good!! It looks better than I thought, it's FAST, the environment is going to be sooo cool.

Besides: 4-player!

Seems Amped 2 concentrates on tricks and online.

I'm really looking forward to 1080 now!
