Now you can see why I've been following the developments of the live action movie(s) for quite some time now. One of the best Animes being converted into (a) live action movie(s) by one of the best development studios on the planet. Evangelion deserves the attention.
And yeah, that Tom Bombadil quote was awesome. It gives us a slight perspective that they know what they're doing.
