Well, That very well might of been Yzermans last game ever.
he scratched a cornea and broke the left eye socket after being hit in the face with the puck.
he had 4 hours of surgery, had blurry vision but said it improved after the surgery.
4 min after he got hit in the game is when the wings went down 1-0, I dunno how they're going to handle this. they were obviously upset over it in the game and not thinking straight. so Wings might be put out tomorrow night. They'll have to dig deep and tell themselves they are going to win it for him. Its possible it could drive them and give them a reason for winning. But i dunno. very sad news after all Yzermans been thro.
