Re: Ok, what is the most embrassing thing that ever happen to you on a date
The restriction is already in place. I think what typhoid's getting at is the frustration of arguing semantics. Why is it better to type fu*k as opposed to fuk. Or for that matter, why is it any better than typing the actual word? Everybody knows what you're talking about either way. The intention is usually the same.
So what do you want to do? Get after them for intention - or for action? A lot of people would type the actual words if they could get away with it. The emphasis behind a replacement word (if it sounds the same as the actual word: i.e. fuk) is generally the same as the word itself.
I am not telling you how to react to those words or their replacements. What I'm saying is that you should probably look at them all the same way. Namely if they have the exact same sound as their predefined vulger counterpart.

The Federal Government has decided that if you're 13, you can register without your parents' consent. You can make the decision to subject yourself to whatever's on these boards. Generally, I try to hold myself to a fairly high level of conduct. It's common courtesy. I very rarely swear on the boards, and words like "dick" and "ass" I've decided are part of everyday life. You see them on TV all the time.
