No, I don't mean an item to make Link normally jump. There shouldn't be manual jumping for just normal things. The choice to give the 3D Zelda's automatic jumping was correct. Having to manually jump across small gaps to get to another platform would just get tiresome and turn Zelda into too much of a platformer.
What I'm talking about is an item that allows you jump REALLY high or REALLY far, within reason. Like I said, it could be used to jump across large canyons that the regular auto jump can't do, and to jump up to maybe an otherwise unreachable cliff.
It'd open up some interesting puzzle oppurtunities.
And what is wrong with voice-acting from characters other than Link? Keeping the game text just keeps the game behind the times.
