yeah. I think all professional sport players are overpayed.

I mean, why do you need to make so much money? There is not one good reason why Basketball players make so much. They dont have much injury risk. Football i can understand. But hockey is getting rediculous.

The revenue goes to promotions, salaries, charities, stuff like that. You have to remember, Basketball is bigger in the US than hockey, so almost every team sells out every game.

And in Basketball they dont have much dispute about currency, considering there is only one Canadian team.

But with hockey, even rookies are making close to 1 million, and most of them play in the minors the first year.
