Haha, I'm glad you like it.
I also like to do what you mentioned. I tell the first riddle, the brick one to a group of people, and I refuse to tell them the answer. I even go as far to say "sleep on it...you might have an idea when you wake up..."
Then several days or even a week later, I tell the next part. They want to kill me, but I love it.
On one of my scholarship retreats I told the first part of the joke to my favorite supervisor. He's a short guy who loves video games and is obsessed with star wars. He is also an English Major and has read all of my favorite books.
Then, I told the last part of the joke to another supervisor, a woman, and told her to wait until the retreat was over to tell him the second part of the joke.
He still remembered it the next time I saw him. haha
