If you crank up games like HL2 to the max resolution, and compare and LCD right next to a CRT, you can see some differences. I know most people wouldn't do that, but whatever. I'm on a limitied budget, so, in my opinion, it would be much more cost efficient to go CRT. =/
Edit: Ignorance is bliss, especially when you don't have money to spend on unnecessary purchases.
