but while you are correct, I forgot a very important detail that set this apart from the labyrinth .
The ammendment to the riddle is as follows:
Suppose neither of the two villages know of the other's existance nor their abilities to tell truth or not.
You gain credit for giving an answer to the original question. However, I did indeed leave a part out. Mah bad,
"What would you answer if I asked you what way the City of Truth is?"
If he lies, it will be a double lie, thus telling the truth.

I've heard that little kids solve that with no problem at all. We're thinking too hard, too mathemetic perhaps.
