Re: Why I Left WoW
I thought the game was beyond amazing...
I'm considering reactivating my account now that I've taken a break (I wore myself out after months and months of playing every waking hour I wasn't at work) and got a new job...
I do agree with Canyarion... Around lvl 30-40 or so, the quests do get extremely spread out... There were times when I had like 9 quests in my log, and each one was in a different zone, which really killed my motivation to do any of them...
And of course 60 is a snorefest (The most fun I had was sitting around the opposing force's towns... A crowd would always gather, there'd be dancing and laughing and communicating through the emotes... Until someone at a high level had to go and ruin the fun)...
But after my first character hit 60, it felt like a huge breath of fresh air to start over again as a different class... 'Specially since I could use my 60 to farm for him :>
Most fun I had was with my 60 shadow priest... I didn't do raids, so I was able to stick with the ass-kicking power of the shadow...
Favorite memory would be the time my priest (was somewhere around 58-60) and my 40-something hunter friend somehow took out 2 lvl 60 rogues who got the drop on us... In Un'goro Crater... I remember it like it was yesterday... Damn rogues got what they deserved...
