I will work on it until I strike the perfect balance between readability and storytelling.

6 months later, the table that the friends all sat at remained empty. Dyne, Dylflon and Typhoid, or DDT as they had begun calling themselves, were off chasing more leads on the whereabouts of Combine. However, in the past few months, their method of collecting data had grown more dangerous. Each day, reports in the newspaper would show more accidents with no suspects and questionable means.
As long as DDT's hidden skills remained hidden to all but their closest friends, they could manuever around the city without being pinned for any of their actions.
Fox remained at home after his hospital stay. While researching a new test chemical at his internship, Fox was exposed to high levels of a Stay Loose chemicals that would help make things more shapeable for storage. While his exposure caused minimal damage, he seemed to have worsen during his hospital stay. Until the end when his health suddely picked up.
Swan had gone past his breaking point. Between his friend's disappearance, Fox's recent brush with death and DDTs more private nature, his world was coming apart. He started to feel lonely then depressed. In his depression, he began to sign up for a list of experimental procedures and drugs. He used a variety of aliases to gain access to all of these.
During a routine check-up after an experiment, he was informed that his body had lost all of its bones. All the scientists on site were shocked that his body maintained its composure. After running a battery of tests, the scientists determined that Swan would live.
When questioned about the cause of this, Swan could not answer which combination had allowed him this. He confessed to the staff that he had been signing up for experiments and drugs all over the city with various names.
Swan's behavior tailspinned after this even more. His depression reached its fever pitch. This is when Swan decided to ascend a bridge. As he climbed up the bridge, his mind replayed fond moments with his friends and his families. He felt bad about not giving them all a chance to say goodbye but they would just try and talk him out of it.
He reached the top of the bridge and surveyed the area around him. It was a beautiful view from up here. At least, it would be the last thing he saw. He turned towards the water, closed his eyes and took his final leap.
He could feel the wind against his face. The hair behind his head. The water under his body. Wait, something was wrong. He landed on the water but was still alive. How was that possible.
He opened his eyes to find that he was floating on the water.
