So apparently this "Zatanna" if she is even real is some DC character who is a magician who speaks her words backwards. I am so calling gimmick infrigement.

Fyacin awoke in his room. The first thing he noticed was the sun beaming down on him. He tried to open his eyes wide to see which window the light was coming through but realized that his roof was missing. In a panic, he jumped off the ground and noticed that his room was a mess.

"Mom! Dad!" He shouted as he ran through the house. There was no response. His heart started to race or at least it should have but he paid that no attention.

He went down to their lab maybe they were working on something major and did not hear his pleas. As he entered the lab, he noticed that it to stood in ruins. What had happened here?

He dug through the ruinage with surprising ease he felt. He saw a foot sticking out a nearby table. God no, he thought as he rushed over. As he removed the rubble from on top the body, he saw the outline of his father. Tears once again began to fill his face but when he went to wipe there was no moisture.

What was going on was his only thought. He dug as quickly as he could to retrieve his father's body. When it was freed, his worst dreams were true. The motionless body stood him all he needed to know, there was little point in taking him to the hospital.

Now, his attention turned to finding his mother... and Clare... sweet Clare. He began shouting frantically hoping that one of them would hear his pleas. Again, there was no response. He dug through piles of rubble and he still found nothing.

In his haste to find his mother, he did not notice the broken window in the back of the room. When a strong wind swept through the lab though, his eyes examined the room for the source. The edges of the window were tainted with a red... oh no. He rushed over to the window. On the other side, he found his mother's body half bent, the rest bruised outside. He jumped through the remaining frame of the window and felt little physical pain.

He tried his hardest, but much like his father he knew there was no point. His mother was dead.
