I have to say, when I read 'games that show progress', I thought you would mean games that show a percentage of how far you are. Like in Metroids, or Zack & Wiki.
So I was already trying to think what I think about that. I think I like it, although it's usually unclear if it refers to the main quest, or to collectables etc. Sucks to beat Metroid when you think you have 40% left.
