I'm hard pressed to imagine a scenario where the election isn't close, and it has nothing to do with the Republican candidate. Turnout. If Pres. Obama can't get out the youth vote he is in BIG trouble, and right now the youth vote doesn't look like a group likely to vote in the numbers they did in 2008.
Also, add in Rubio as a VP running mate and Republicans pull away some of the Latino vote and Florida is solidly a red state. In PA, there is a movement to restructure the allocation on electoral votes (proportionate as opposed to all or nothing) and that could have a huge impact as well.
