The graphics were great, the controller was good, the games kicked all ass.

And maybe cause Sega knew what they were doing, before DC even launched. Maybe because here I am still waiting to get online with other consoles, and Sega was online almost immediatly after launch. Maybe because Sega concentrated on how fun games were, and not how great the graphics were or whether it utilizes a HD or not.

DC was a blast, a blast to talk about, to play, to read about. DC kicked ass. I look back at the calander I got for the DC launch, and am severely disapointed with today's games.

DC seemed to want to push forward into the next generation, the other consoles just seem to want a technically superior repeat of last generation.

Ever wonder why gaming forums are so popular? No? Ever wonder why you posted like 70 messages in 1 day? It's quite simple, because the games suck. If today's games were really that great, wouldn't we be spending hours playing all these sweet games, instead of sitting around and talking about them? DC was fun to play, I'd sit down and put hours into the games because they kicked ass. Today's consoles I play when I don't want to be online anymore. And look at polls, a lot of people talk about games and read about games more than they play games.

Sorry, but we are not gaming scholars here, we're gamers, we're supposed to play games. DC was fun to play, and when I wanted to go online, DC fans had better things to do than sit around discussing which console was technically superior. Guess what? They sat around talking about the games, and not always comparing them, but how fun they were.

Sorry, but today's consoles suck in comparison.
