I understand what you're saying, but I don't see how that resolves people actually getting enough dblns to get those perm. custom ranks. I'm just saying if it weren't for people giving others their own dblns, the Treasure Trove forum wouldn't get much action (other than people claiming dblns for 500 posts). In other words, there aren't a lot of chances for people to earn them (except in G-trac). And not everyone can make posts that the mods would deem to be worth dblns.

Well the way I see it, Ric and fingersman made a hell of a lot of good posts that they didn't earn some dblns for, either because they made them before the system was in place or mods just didn't see it to be good, when it very well may have been. Consider it however you want, in my opinion they both have earned the right to have a permanent custom rank.
