and BESIDES, didn't the Rockets win back to back NBA Champioships in '94 and '95? Yeah, you said seven years, but don't be rediculous...back to back NBA Championships in the mid 90's is phenominal. And don't the Rockets have one of the most exciting players on in the NBA on their team? Stevey Franchise? Yeah, that's what I thought too.
And I remember in like 98 or so the 49ers (led by the timeless Steve Young) beat the Packers in a playoff game. I was really pissed off, because Young made a game winning TD pass at the very end. That must have gotten them somewhat close to a Super Bowl appearance. Plus they have a great team this year with Owens and Garcia leading the way. A top 5 NFC team easily.
My favourite sports team is the Toronto Maple Leafs who haven't won a Stanley Cup since 1967. But I still think they're a great team...because they are. Lots of talented players, always are in the top 5-10 in the league. Just like the 49ers.
