Hows about you look at it like a gamer... and if you're a Nintendo only gamer, the way you see that is
"Rare's gone... no more games by Rare..."
If you don't like Rare, meh... but if you liked Rare and their games, you'll be DISSAPOINTED...
And sure you could also see it like
"Well Nintendo has other companies to make good games yada yada blah!"
But c'mon... a good game is a good game, and Rare made games that quite a few people enjoyed... and even if you can get other good games, wouldn't you be even MORE happy if you can get those same good games AND Rare's good games?
Exclusive to Microsoft... infact, I'm pretty sure they're not even just a second party, but a full first party of Microsoft... Cuz like Microsoft bought the whole company... or something...

I do like rare. i liked thier games. most. didnt like PD. i loved GE, and GE is the only rare game i own. but i played some of banjo and liked it. didnt like that one space one, forget its name. had a dog or something? didnt like that one at all.
Anywho. point is i liked them. and i will prolly love this Starfox game. Am i dissapointed to see them go? Nope.
Why? because altho i might miss some good games from them. What Nintendo wants and might be able to do with this money will bring more good games which will make me just as happy. Nintendo is trying to do something about thier future of having companies make games for them. they could hold onto 1, or use the money to try and get many to make games for them. I prefer them to try and get more games.
(might be risky, cuz maybe the comanies they get to make games for them wont make good games....................... Maybe rare wont make another good game............. Maybe nintendo will get many good games from other companies out of this and MS will get good games from Rare.) You never know how this turns out. But you certainly cant blame nintendo for trying. Its not like rare had been pumping out a lot of great stuff for them and they suddenly sold them.................. I bet they thought long and hard about this. And i think it will end up benificial for both Nintendo and MS.
