41 “Clown Attack”
Though Guy may appear on the outside to be a recovering gambler, on the inside he is experiencing psychological warfare. In order to substitute for the thrill of gambling, he takes up a life of crime by becoming a pickpocket. After his first day of work he shows his darker side by chewing out Anne. At the Alden party that night a clown bum shows up and refuses to leave. He keeps waking up the children and coughing on the family. He even coughs up some phlegm and spits on Guy and Laura while they sleep. Eventually Crazy Laura wakes up and calls the Clown Catchers to deal with the problem. They show up and used a special clown-ray to eliminate the clown. The next day Laura accepts a job as a hacker. Since she can no longer find power as a psychic, perhaps she can with computers.

42 “Don’t Lose Your Head”
Marcus invites Janeway’s Head over for the evening. He falls in love with Janeway’s Head, and makes out with it/her right in front of Buffy! Buffy is quite pissed, but Marcus eventually talks her down. Alice entertains the male members of the family by dancing in the cage. This causes some “stirrings” in her and she walks away knowing she wants to try it again. She also breaks the Espresso machine, but impresses everyone by repairing it herself in little time.

43 “You Want to Probe Me Where?!”
While gazing at the stars through the family telescope, David is suddenly abducted by aliens! The entire family mourns his departure for a whole 10 sec!
Marcus calls a meeting of the Super Freaks, but since none of them actually have any super powers they aren’t of much help. David is returned early that morning. Despite needing to use the bathroom in a major way, he seems to be all right. Though his personality is radically altered from what it used to be. He’s a bit nicer than before, but strangely distant and sedentary.

44 “I’m not whom I think I am”
Alice is sickened by the excessive niceness from her husband David. It causes her to seek out different source of thrills, like cage dancing. Because of the numerous parties the Aldens have been throwing, they decide to invest in a costume cabinet. The Alden family makes the incredible discovery that you don’t need to wear the same outfit every damn day of your life! They begin experimenting with different looks. And Alice finds out that her son Xavier hates her. –12, to be exact.

45 “I have no son”
Because Xavier is harboring so much anger and resentment toward his mother for never paying attention to him and booing his jokes, his grades have slipped dramatically. He now sports a D+ average. Alice decides to spend more time with Xavier in an effort to improve their relationship.
A new Alden family policy is instituted. Whenever someone misses either work or school, that person must spend the whole day cleaning house as punishment. Guy gets promoted to Bookie, and he goes to work in a police car. How ironic is that?

46 “O Brother, where art thou?”
The Aldens have come to realize that in order to progress any further in their careers they must have family friends. They start to openly communicate with one another, not because they really want to but because they want more money. David wants to be the first to gain the required 6 friends. Guy remodels the living room to be a party room to entertain guests.

47 “Criminal Intent”
David finally succeeds in gaining 6 family friends. He hopes that the promotion will soon be his! Criminals have infiltrated the Fortress of Goofiness on three different occasions since its inception. The rise in crime in the neighborhood causes fear within the Alden family. As a result, they decide to fortify their house with an iron fence and extra intruder alarms. Unfortunately, the family’s financial situation still bares a scare from Guy’s gambling indulgences. As a result, they are only able to fence off a single side of their property before they extinguish their limited funds, meaning they can keep out ¼ of the criminals. hahaha! The irony with Guy’s situation is obvious. If only the family knew what he was up to…

48 “Moment of Truth”
Janeway’s Head invites Marcus over for “dessert”. After a brief period of flirtation, Janeway’s Head proposes marriage. Marcus surprises her by declining. Then they all have a good laugh and eat dinner together.
John Fox is becoming ever more worried over the state of his family. The virus seems to be gone, but the damage is still present. He quietly ponders what his next move will be.

49 “Greater than Gold”
Let’s face it, there’s nothing to do in this neighborhood except party. Fox and Willow are unable to attend, and the Aldens worry about them. Despite this the party is a bash and Alice gets in some more cage-dancing time. Zorro is a jerk as usual, and spends most of his time insulting and bragging to people. David realizes much to his dismay that family friends do not include friends within the family. Fortunately he recruits family members to go out and cultivate friendships. Marcus goes a little too far and falls in love with the chicken man, Colonel Sanders. David forces Anne to make friends with Zefram, even though he makes her stay out until midnight playing in the streets to accomplish this.

50 “Taking Leave…of your senses”
Guy comes home in the early morning from one of his jobs when he meets Zefram eating in the kitchen. Guy threatens to superglue Zefram’s head to the garage door if he ever reveals to anyone what he has been up to. Zefram gets very scared, so he convinces Willow that they should leave town. Willow needs a break anyway, so she takes Zefram and Jeeves and heads for Pittsburgh to visit her mom. John, in pain after all that has happened, moves to Tibet to seek spiritual forgiveness. Alice and David, as well as other members of the family receive promotions at the same time. To celebrate, Alice goes for some cage dancing. She decides to change her whole image, from miss proper to girl to miss whips & chains.
