Welll the blackout caught my dad, my cousin and me in manhattan, we were near the seaport, it took us 3 hours to walk home and I didn't exactly have walking shoes , but hey it beat being stuck in an elevator or subway.
Then when we got home by the apartment building I'm staying in........it was so dark i couldn't see my hand in front my face and that was during the day and the night time ( the power outage lasted about 24 hours or so in our area)
I really felt sorry for all those people that were lost ......... and trust me alot of people were just walking and din't know where they were going, and some people really had to walk far....... so I'm grateful.
Well just a week and some days left till I return home
I'll try to have fun and shop as much as possible and annoy BAB as much as possible!!!!
I think I'll phone him and wake him up early tomorrow
Oh yeah , I didn't have gas, water or electricity either
